Mark Grabowski is a professor at Marist College in New York, where he teaches media law and journalism. He's writing a book on journalism careers for a popular publisher that's due out in Spring 2009. He also consults organizations on media relations and has taught at Monmouth and Princeton universities in New Jersey. Previously, he spent five years reporting on news and politics for newspapers around the country. The 31-year-old Philadelphia native has covered the suburbs for The Providence Journal, manned the night cops desk at The Arizona Republic, served as the state capital bureau chief for a Pennsylvania newspaper chain, and tracked Congress for a wire service. Additionally, he was a journalism fellow with the American Political Science Association and holds a J.D. from Georgetown Law.
