Freelance editor @ Politics magazine

Politics (formerly Campaigns & Elections) needs a part-time assistant editor to help with various writing and editing duties, including researching and writing the magazine's “Coming&Going” and “Campaign Sign Ups” sections, finding fun quotes for our “Quips&Slips” page, reporting web stories, and writing shorts for the front of the book.

The pay is $15 per hour. You will work anywhere from 1-10 hours per week, depending on where the magazine is in the production cycle. Work can be done from home. Both freelancers and full-time journalists looking to pick up some extra hours are encouraged to apply.

Politics magazine seeks interns

Politics magazine is looking for undergraduate students who are studying journalism or political science to intern at its Washington, D.C. office.

The intern will work closely with the staff conducting research for articles with the possibility of writing articles among other duties.
