Entry-level newspaper reporters in Northeast

A couple newspapers in northeastern states are seeking young reporters:
  • Pennsylvania: The Towanda Daily & Sunday Review, a small daily newspaper in northeast Pennsylvania, seeks a reporter to cover local news and features. "Some professional experience preferred but sharp grads who worked on a college paper are encouraged to apply," the ad states.   • New Jersey: The Princeton Packet, a semi-weekly newspaper about an hour from Philadelphia, seeks a staff writer. "Job involves news and feature writing, including municipal and school board night meeting coverage," the ad states. "Ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have 1+​ years of news writing experience, computer literacy and typing proficiency ... Local candidates preferred." Central Jersey newspaper seeks reporters

The Princeton Packet, a semi-weekly newspaper located between NYC and Philly, is seeking reporters to cover hard news and government meetings along with some features and enterprise stories. In addition, there are openings at the newspaper chain's other newspapers in Central New Jersey.
