Year-round internships @ USA Today

The USA Today, the most read daily newspaper in the U.S., offers journalism internships year-round at its Washington, D.C. area headquarters in various sections: News, Opinion, Money, Sports, Travel, Life. In addition, internships are also available in multimedia, photography, page layout/design, weather, copy editing, online and the New York bureau.

Because the internships are unpaid, only students who can receive academic credit for the internship are eligible. Standard minimum work commitment is 15-20 hours, two to three days a week for 12 weeks.

To apply, submit your cover letter, resume and work samples to newsroominterns@usatoday.com. Occasionally a student can secure an internship after the initial deadlines, which are summer, Dec. 1; autumn, April 1; and spring and holiday interim, Oct. 15.
