Paid business journalism internship

InvestmentWires, a news website that covers finance, is offering a paid summer reporting internship. The position is based in New York City and starts May 14.

"Your duties will include: scanning a variety of news sources; identifying and reporting on breaking news; writing original content, including exclusive stories; developing industry sources; and editing colleagues' stories and headlines," the ad states. "Ideal candidates should: have solid typing and writing skills; be comfortable on the telephone; possess (or be on track to completing) a Bachelor's degree; and be ready and willing to learn. "

Paid internships @ BusinessWeek

BusinessWeek, a 1 million-circulation business magazine, is offering full-time paid internships this summer in its New York office.

The 12-week positions pay up to $15 per hour along with overtime ($600 per 40 hour work week). They are open to college and graduate students. Editorial internships are available in several departments, including: Lifestyle, Technology, Business Schools, International, Innovation, Small Business, Investing/Finance and News.
