The Princeton Packet, a semi-weekly newspaper located between NYC and Philly, is seeking reporters to cover hard news and government meetings along with some features and enterprise stories. In addition, there are openings at the newspaper chain's other newspapers in Central New Jersey.

New Dallas paper seeks freelancers

Lone Star Trumpet, a new, monthly Dallas-area newspaper, seeks contributing writers:

"Searching for sports writers, feature, humor, column, business, education, beauty, etc. Recent college graduates welcomed. The newspaper only publishes the positive side of the news. The position is 100 percent freelance and will not require you to commute to an office."

Pay is $25-$50 per article.
