The Reno Gazette-Journal, a 67,000-circulation daily newspaper in Nevada, is offering paid summer internships. The 12-week position are available in the following categories: news writing, sports writing and photography.

"Interns would work directly with current staff members in concept development, story writing and editing as well as other aspects of a newsroom," the ad states.

KRNV-TV (a.k.a. Channel 4), NBC's affiliate in Reno, Nevada, seeks an all-platform journalist.

Journalist should "be able to shoot, write and edit your own stories and feed them back to station by laptop, microwave or Satellite truck; anchor live field reports; and perform other tasks related to the position as assigned, which will include Web site contribution and or newscast producing," the ad states.
