Star Magazine seeks entry-level reporter

Star Magazine, a 1.4 million-circulation entertainment magazine, is seeking an entry-level reporter to find and report the freshest celebrity news.

"The successful applicant will have a detailed knowledge and love of pop culture, an ability to make and keep sources, a good, snappy writing style, endless enthusiasm and a readiness to work all hours," the ad says. "He/she must be willing to travel at a moment's notice."

Initially, the job will be on a freelance basis.

Internship @ Seventeen magazine

Fashion, celebrities, beauty and journalism.

Have it all by interning at Seventeen. The magazine for teenagers is looking for a special projects intern for the fall 2008 semester.

"The ideal candidate would be able to work at least three full days a week" the advertisement says. "Responsibilities will include assisting in all aspects of major web-based project. Ideal candidate would be interested in blogging, photo work, and learning about working for a magazine website. This internship is unpaid, for college credit only."
